Salesforce Adminstrator/Marketing Operations Associate
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are actively seeking a full time Marketing Operations Associate (MOA) to join our growing sales and marketing team. The MOA will play an integral role in increasing market presence and revenue by managing our e-marketing efforts and performing administrator duties of our CRM system, SalesForce.com (SFDC). The MOA will be charged with implementing marketing strategies and supporting sales efforts in order to grow new business sales as well as retain and up sell existing subscription contracts. In addition, this position will assist with the tactical implementation of other marketing programs aligned to overall company strategy. The position involves extensive data manipulation, data analysis and technical knowledge of email service providers (ESP), computer systems and their use to achieve business objectives. A working knowledge of Google Apps, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Access required. Proficiency in SFDC is required.
Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
· Administer and provide SFDC support in the Portfolio Media sales and marketing environment.
· Ongoing assessment of CRM processes, recommend improvements and implement new processes/policies as necessary.
· Track and measure success of various marketing initiatives including various email success metrics and other ROI calculations as needed. Stay abreast of trends in e-marketing and develop best practices for the company.
· Develop various reports and metrics to measure sales success using Google Apps, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and SFDC.
· Utilize tools along with ESP to manage email marketing campaigns and maintain integrity of all newsletter and marketing targeted lists.
· Support full cycle development and distribution of marketing and sales materials including sales presentations, brochures and other collateral.
· Lead various data cleanup initiatives associated with the evolving technical environment.
· Manages relationships with vendors as appropriate.
Main objectives:
· Ensuring seamless e-marketing and sales processes
· Reporting accurate sales and marketing metrics to provide transparency and visibility within department and across the company
· Ad hoc support of the sales and marketing functions
Performance Indicators:
· Proficiency in marketing (ESP) & sales (SFDC) software programs
· Accuracy in report preparation and timeliness of delivery
· Consistent delivery of daily email newsletters
· Effectiveness of marketing campaign launches
· Quality of marketing and sales materials
Qualifications:
· BS or BA degree required
· Proficiency in Salesforce, Excel, Access, PowerPoint
· Knowledge of email service providers a plus
· Proven ability to manage short and long term projects with proven track record of working independently.
· Must be able to quickly develop an understanding of Law360 systems and products and business practices.
· Strong business communication skills (written and oral).
· Self starter with a great attitude and strong work ethic.
· Strong organizational skills.
· Legal industry knowledge/experience preferred.
Salary: 45k base + benefits from day one
